My contribution to the Qeeology 2.5 show on May 7th at Marz Bar in Lincoln, NE.

There are going to be in the neighborhood of 200 custom 2.5" Qees at this show and they are all looking awesome. I would have loved to be able to see them in person.

Doomguy for ICFSB II

This is my contribution to the "It Came From Skullbrain II" custom show at Super 7 in San Francisco on January 16th 2010. He is a Doom space marine on a Secret Base Space Barbarian. That's not confusing is it? ;)

I finally finished up my contribution to the "Most Wanted" messageboard artists series on the Kidrobot Forums. I also did two chase figures which will remain a mystery until they are opened :)

This was commissioned by a private collector on the Kidrobot forums. A lot more sculpting than I usually do but it was fun.

Samurai Kanser

This is a custom Kanser I just finished up for a collector on the Kidrobot forums. I had free rein on this one and was admittedly a little self indulgent. The collector recently commissioned a number of custom Kansers and I was lucky enough to be one of the artists involved. It was a little intimidating doing this one after seeing several of the other commissions completed by some very talented artists, but I am pretty happy with the results. It should arrive at its destination in a few days and I'll found out what its owner thinks once he has it in hand.

Happy Mail Day! - Custom Glyos

Got this awesome guy the other day. He is a Glyos System Buildman by Onell Design, and custom painted by Dead Presidents' Matt Walker. The pictures really do not do the paint justice; it is beautiful in person. And yes I flipped on of the images to make my composite a little easier to do ;)

New Blog, New Shop

Welcome! After many years of thinking about starting a blog, I have finally taken the plunge and decided to do it.

Though I have a website and a Flickr account where my portfolio can be seen, I felt like I needed a place to share sketches, work in progress, ideas, and my love of art and art toys.

I also decided to open a small shop to facilitate selling anything that needs selling. Most of my work is commissioned so I don't often have much for sale, but if a piece I have done for a show gets returned unsold I now have somewhere of my own to sell it.

Nothing fancy, and there is a lonely Labbit in there already, waiting for a happy home :)

I haven't done any advertising for the blog or shop yet, but when I do I imagine I will do a contest giveaway or something. So stay tuned...
